Palm Oil Plantation Companies Distribute 1,000 Food Aid Packages to Communities in Kubu Raya

Kubu Raya – As part of their commitment to supporting surrounding communities, five palm oil plantation companies distributed food aid packages to residents of Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, on Monday (March 2, 2026).
The companies involved in this initiative are PT Graha Agro Nusantara, PT Nusa Jaya Perkasa, PT Bumi Alam Sentosa, PT Putralirik Domas, and PT Sumatera Unggul. The assistance was symbolically handed over by Joko Catur Prasetyo, Head of Plantation for West Kalimantan, to the Kubu Raya Regional Government, represented by Elfizar Edrus, Head of the Kubu Raya Plantation Agency, for further distribution to communities in need.
A total of 1,000 food aid packages were provided, consisting of 400 sacks of rice, 800 packs of sugar, and over 800 bottles of cooking oil.
Joko Catur Prasetyo stated that the initiative reflects the companies’ commitment to supporting communities around their operational areas while strengthening long-term relationships with local stakeholders.
He also expressed hope that the assistance would help ease the burden of residents and bring joy during the holy month of Ramadan.
The food aid distribution is part of the companies’ ongoing social initiatives, particularly during major religious occasions, as a way to promote solidarity and share blessings with those in need.
