PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa Distributed Food Aid to Flood Victims in Aceh Tamiang

RIAU - As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa (JJP) has distributed food aid to communities affected by flooding in Aceh Tamiang Regency.
The aid was delivered through the Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Aceh Tamiang Regency on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The assistance consisted of food packages containing packaged food and beverages to help meet the basic needs of affected residents during the post-disaster recovery period.
Group Estate Manager of PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa, Parlin S. Panjaitan, stated that the assistance reflects the company’s empathy and concern for communities impacted by natural disasters.
“This assistance represents our empathy and concern for communities affected by the floods. We hope it will help meet residents’ basic needs during the recovery period,” he said.
Through its CSR programs, PT JJP continues to demonstrate its commitment to contributing to social and humanitarian initiatives, particularly in supporting communities affected by natural disasters. Parlin added that the program was made possible through collaboration with various stakeholders.
“This initiative was carried out through collaboration with the government, particularly the Directorate General of Plantations of the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as companies operating around the affected areas,” he added.
Meanwhile, BPBD Aceh Tamiang representative Muhammad Taufiq, SE, expressed his appreciation for the assistance provided by PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa.
“We would like to thank PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa for its support and concern for the people of Aceh Tamiang. This assistance is very meaningful for residents facing post-disaster conditions,” he said.
One of the beneficiary areas was Banda Mulia Sub-district, Aceh Tamiang Regency. On the same occasion, Agus Setiawan, Secretary of Banda Mulia Sub-district, also expressed his gratitude for the assistance received by the local community.
“We sincerely appreciate the support provided to the Banda Mulia community. We hope this assistance can help ease the burden of residents affected by the floods that occurred at the end of 2025,” he concluded.
