PT JJP and Koperasi Seribu Kubah Organize Ramadan Safari with the Kubu Babussalam Community
ROKAN HILIR – Demonstrating its social commitment during the holy month, PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa (JJP) in collaboration with Koperasi Seribu Kubah held a Ramadan Safari event at the Balai Adat Suku Melayu Hamba Raja Kenegrian Kubu, Kepenghuluan Rantau Panjang Kiri, Rokan Hilir Regency. The event served as an opportunity for the company to strengthen ties and share the spirit of Ramadan with communities around its operational area.
The main activities of the Ramadan Safari included a communal iftar (breaking of the fast) and the distribution of donations to 62 orphans from several kepenghuluan (village administrations) in the Kubu Babussalam Subdistrict.
In addition to the donations, PT JJP and Koperasi Seribu Kubah also demonstrated their concern by providing worship-supporting facilities. Donations in the form of prayer mats and electric fans were handed over to several musalas and mosques in the area. These contributions are expected to support the comfort of the community while performing tarawih prayers and other religious activities during Ramadan.
Parlin Pandjaitan, Group Estate Manager of PT JJP, attended the event in person to represent the company’s management. The presence of the management representative reaffirmed PT JJP’s full support for social initiatives that directly address the needs of local communities.
Representing the organizing committee, H. Widiarto Komalul, Chairman of Koperasi Seribu Kubah, stated that the Ramadan Safari reflects a shared commitment that is hoped to continue sustainably in the future.
“This activity reflects our sense of togetherness and care for the community, especially for the orphans. We hope the donations provided will bring benefits and happiness during this blessed month,” said Widiarto.
This social initiative also received appreciation and full support from local government representatives. The event was attended by Ahmad Marzan, S.STP., Subdistrict Head of Kubu Babussalam, along with religious leaders, traditional leaders, and other community members.
Through this spirit of togetherness, PT JJP hopes that the synergy between the company, the cooperative, the local government, and the community will continue to grow stronger and create meaningful positive impacts for the surrounding environment.
