PT TSB Conducted Corn Harvest Festival, Strengthening Food Security in Muara Badak
KALIMANTAN TIMUR - PT TSB carried out the Quarter I 2026 Simultaneous Corn Harvest Festival in Muara Badak Sub-district on Thursday (January 8, 2026). This activity reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the national food security program while strengthening synergy between the company, the government, and the local community.
The harvest event was attended by PT TSB’s management as well as representatives of the Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Kecamatan Muara Badak (Forkopimcam), including the Head of Muara Badak Sub-district, the Muara Badak Police Chief, the Muara Badak Military Commander (Danramil), the Deputy Police Chief (Wakapolsek) of Marangkayu, the Muara Badak Agricultural UPTD, and representatives of the Saliki Village Government.
The harvest activities began with a symbolic harvest led by the Head of Muara Badak Sub-district, followed by all invited guests. The symbolic harvest yielded approximately 3 quintals of corn. Further harvesting will continue internally on the following days, with the total yield estimated to reach around 1 ton.
In his remarks, the Head of Muara Badak Sub-district expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between PT TSB and the local government in supporting the agricultural sector through the Asta Cita Program. He described the activity as a concrete example of positive synergy in strengthening food security in the Muara Badak area.
Meanwhile, a representative of PT TSB’s management stated that the corn harvest activity is part of the company’s commitment to contributing to regional development. Through the development of local agriculture, PT TSB aims to provide sustainable benefits while strengthening partnerships with all stakeholders.
Through the implementation of this Simultaneous Corn Harvest Festival, PT TSB hopes that the synergy between the company, government, and the community will continue to grow and generate a positive and sustainable impact on the development of the agricultural sector in Muara Badak Sub-district.
